HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Police have made another arrest in connection with a mass shooting in Little River.
The Horry County Police Department announced Tuesday that authorities took a 16-year-old boy from North Carolina into custody.
HCPD said the teen will be charged with eight counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon by person unlawful and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
The teen will be taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
The Naval Criminal Investigative Service arrested another suspect in the shooting, Shawon Williams, last week.
Williams, 19, worked as a Navy hull maintenance technician seaman assigned to the Great Lakes area, according to Cmrd. Jessica McNulty, a spokesperson for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine
