Elm St. to close in Henderson for water main repairs

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Henderson Water Utility officials say they will close Elm Street between Barnett Drive and Elk Avenue on Tuesday evening.

According to a press release, the closure is due to an emergency water main repair near the intersection of Hi-Y Drive and Elm Street.

The closure is expected to last approximately 8 hours, with full reopening by early Wednesday morning.

Elm Street will be completely closed in the work zone.

Residents and businesses in the affected area must access Elm Street from either the north or south.

Please avoid this area if at all possible and use alternate routes.
