Police on Tuesday identified the victim of a deadly East End shooting as K-Ron Washington, 31, of Richmond.

Police responded to the 1300 block of Coalter Street at around 2:05 a.m. on Saturday for the report of a person down. Upon arrival, they found Washington suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
