CONTROVERSIAL US president Donald Trump snubbed Rory McIlroy when naming the best golfers in the world.
That is despite McIlroy, 36, winning this year's Masters Tournament .
Trump, 78, instead went with World No1 Scottie Scheffler and MAGA-loving Bryson DeChambeau.
DeChambeau , 31, who has ben a vocal ally of the Republican leader, is eight places below World No2 McIlroy in the official golf rankings.
Trump said of DeChambeau from Trump National Golf Club: "He's probably the No. 1 golfer now.
"Him and Scottie are rated the top."
Trump is a massive golf fan and spends a great deal of his time hitting the links at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, where he spent at least 12 of the first 29 nights of his second term.
