Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard says a man who had been named in arrest warrants for felony crimes was captured early Tuesday morning.

According to Havard, 40-year-old Johnny Frank Davis was wanted on a charge of Aggravated Kidnapping and he also had a Parole Violation warrant for Aggravated Assault.

Havard said his deputies along with Jasper Police, state troopers, and the U.S. Marshal’s Service captured Davis in a home on Farm to Market Road 1013 near the Jasper-Newton County line.

According to Havard, after recently releasing a photo of Davis, a tip was received through Crime Stoppers which led them to his location.
