KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Parkville teen arrested for setting fire to two Teslas at the Kansas City dealership on State Line Road made his first court appearance Tuesday, June 3.

Owen McIntire , 19, appeared in U.S. District Court in Boston, where he’s been living as a student at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

McIntire faces federal charges on one count of unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device (commonly referred to as a Molotov cocktail) and one count of malicious damage by fire of any property used in interstate commerce.
