NEW HAMPTON, Iowa – A case of embezzlement at the Nashua-Plainfield Booster Club has ended with a plea deal.

Jordan James White, 39 of Nashua, was charged with one count of first-degree theft. White was accused of withdrawing cash from the Nashua-Plainfield Booster Club’s checking account between January 2, 2024, and March 5, 2025, and using the money for personal expenses.

Court documents state White also made unauthorized transactions from the booster club checking account with a debit card to pay for personal expenses.

Investigators say the illegal withdrawals and transactions totaled more than $10,000.

White has now pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of third-degree theft and been sentenced to two years of supervised probation.
