ST. LOUIS – Energizer Park will be cracking Tuesday night as the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team takes the pitch against the Jamaican national team, the Reggae Girlz.
The USWNT is 4-2 in international competition this year and coming off a 3-0 victory against China on May 31 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
The U.S. was originally slated to play a second match against China in St. Louis, but the Chinese Football Association said the women’s team could only play the first match.
This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the U.S. and Jamaican women’s teams, and first match since the 2022 CONCACAF W Gold Cup, when the USWNT routed the Reggae Girlz, 5-0.
The women’s team has three more friendlies scheduled this summer: June 26 and June 29 against Ireland, and against Canada on July 2.
