HOUSTON — The Texans are taking it easy with their franchise quarterback as the team eases back into practice this offseason.
Due to an apparent injury, C.J. Stroud hasn't been throwing during organized team activities, or OTAs, which began last Wednesday, May 28.
Head coach DeMeco Ryans was asked about it on Tuesday.
"Just general soreness. We're taking extra precaution with him. When he's ready to go, he'll be ready to go," Ryans said.
When pressed about the issue, Ryans smiled and told reporters that was all he was going to say about Stroud's injury.
According to multiple reports, Stroud is dealing with shoulder soreness, although the team wouldn't confirm what part of his body was experiencing the soreness.
