WEST MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) -- In March 2024, investigators of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office began an investigation into an indecent behavior with a juvenile complaint that allegedly occurred on August 20, 2023. During the investigation, James Robert Scalf of Bridge City, Texas, was accused of sending two juvenile victims a video via social media of himself performing sexual acts with a female subject.

According to authorities, Scalf was identified in the video, and they were unable to locate him for questioning. Investigators obtained an arrest warrant, and Scalf was arrested on June 2, 2025.

He was charged with two counts of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, and his bond was set at $20,000.
