On the eve of trial Monday, a 24-year-old man entered a plea for sexually assaulting a teen girl in the Cumberland County Sheetz where he worked .
By pleading no contest, Shippensburg resident Demarcus Johnson acknowledged the Cumberland County district attorney’s office had enough evidence to convict him without accepting guilt.
Court records show Johnson pleaded to one felony count of sexual assault. Six related offenses were dismissed, including rape by forcible compulsion. His attorney was not immediately available for comment.
