FRONT ROYAL — The Warren Heritage Society welcomed Liz Rishel as its new executive director at the end of April.

Rishel, who holds master’s degrees in both museum science and business administration, said she is excited to be a part of the organization and eager to help share all that the nonprofit has to offer the community.

A native of Midland, Texas, Rishel moved to the area about 20 years ago to work as an intern at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park in West Virginia. She went on to work as an archivist at the Frederick County, Maryland, historical society before earning her master's in business administration in 2010.
