EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — On Saturday morning, authorities say they were alerted to be on the lookout for a vehicle that might have a missing teenage girl inside.

Shortly afterward, deputies spotted the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop, and found the girl inside, along with a male juvenile and 20-year-old Pedro Mateo.

Mateo is now being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Alabama.
