WYOMISSING — Dundore and Heister, an artisan butcher shop on Penn Avenue in Wyomissing, is switching its business model from a brick-and-mortar store to online sales.
The change took effect on Saturday, May 31.
The company is taking online orders for its products and will transition its retail location into a production facility, the company announced Monday.
“As consumer habits continue to evolve, the move to an online model will enable the company to better serve a wider audience, enhance product accessibility and streamline operations while maintaining its uncompromising quality standards,” Tod and Chrissy Auman, who started the business in 2014, said in a statement. “We recently came to the realization that our physical building would limit our plans for future growth and expansion.
