A mass exodus has arrived at Union County .

On Saturday, Fightin’ Tigers athletic director and head football coach Andrew Thomas announced his dismissal from both positions on Facebook.

In the post, Thomas said he did nothing to deserve this and that he received full support from the school board and the boosters. Further down in the post, Thomas lists his accomplishments in his five years as head coach, which included two final four appearances and 10 playoff wins. He concludes by saying that this “culture of success” has been “challenged and questioned.”

Monday, all five members of Thomas’ coaching staff stepped up to support their coach. Kyle Presnick, Scott McDaniel, Riley Reed, Travis Smith and Craig Slocum resigned in unison from the program in separate Facebook posts.
