Everyone injured in a Molotov cocktail attack on people raising awareness of Israeli hostages on Sunday on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall is expected to survive, Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn said on Tuesday.
Three of the 12 victims were still being treated at UCHealth University of Colorado’s burn unit on Tuesday, according to hospital spokesperson Alli Witzman. She was unable to give an update on the victims’ conditions because of patient confidentiality.
Redfearn said the remaining patients are being treated for “pretty serious burns.”
“It’s a pretty terrible injury to have,” Redfearn said. “I can’t imagine what they’re going through.”
