Cedar Park City Council voted to increase the speed limit on sections of Scottsdale Drive and New Hope Drive at its April 24 meeting.

What you need to know

The speed limit increased from 40 mph to 45 mph on New Hope Drive from 183A Toll to Cottonwood Creek Trail, according to agenda documents .

On Scottsdale Drive, from 183A Toll to 2000 feet south of Volta Drive, the speed limit increased from 30 to 35 mph. The speed limit was also raised from 35 to 40 mph from 2000 feet south of Volta Drive to New Hope Drive.
