WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - Police have arrested two people for robberies through Facebook Marketplace in Waterbury.

According to the Waterbury Police Department, two people have been arrested following a string of robberies that were arranged through Facebook Marketplace.

In the robberies that were reported on Fiske Street , the suspects would be shown to the victims and would threaten to steal their items.

Officials have arrested 22-year-old William Brown of Waterbury and a 17-year-old of Waterbury.

The teenager is now facing the following charges:

Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 6th Degree

Conspiracy to Commit Robbery 1st Degree

Brown is also facing charges in connection to the the Facebook Marketplace incidents as well as another related to another warrant:
