The White House is dismissing the latest criticism from tech billionaire Elon Musk over President Donald Trump's "big beautiful bill," insisting it "doesn't change the president's opinion."
Musk, who recently left Trump's administration, blasted the tax cuts and spending plans backed by the president that passed the House, calling it a "disgusting abomination."
"This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” Musk posted Tuesday on X. “Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
"The president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill," Leavitt said and Musk's post "doesn't change the president's opinion."
