HASTINGS, KENESAW, JUNIATA, KEARNEY Neb. (KSNB) - The storms occurring over Monday night to Tuesday morning did leave an impact on the Tri-City area, with reports of power outages and damage to trees and powerlines.

In Kearney, power was knocked out for over 950 customers at around 10:30 p.m. due to the weather, according to the Nebraska Public Power District. The issue was not longer on their outage map by 5 a.m.

Buffalo County Emergency Management director Darren Lewis reported some sign damage and numerous broken tree limbs and branches. One photo submitted to Local4 showed a large tree branch fallen on a pickup in the driveway of a home near Fifth Avenue and 25th street.
