A Wisconsin man is accused of forging letters that threatened the assassination of President Trump in attempt to frame and deport a potential witness in a criminal case.

Demetric D. Scott, 52, allegedly wrote letters to state and federal officials with the return address of Ramón Morales Reyes, according to Wisconsin prosecutors.

The handwritten letters blasted the Trump administration’s immigration policies and threatened to “shoot your precious president in the head” at one of his “big rallies,” according to a photo released by the Department of Homeland Security.

Morales Reyes, 54, was arrested in Milwaukee on May 22, one day after the letters were received by the Wisconsin Attorney General’s Office, the Milwaukee police chief and the Milwaukee Immigration and Customs Enforceme
