The lawsuit was filed June 3 in the U.S. District Court of Grand Rapids by Brenda Tracy's East Lansing-based attorney, Karen Truszkowski.

The lawsuit accuses Michigan State University trustees of leaking Brenda Tracy's name while the university was still investigating her claims against Mel Tucker.

A report from an investigation paid for by the university found no evidence any MSU official or employee leaked her name.
