VALLEY CITY, Ohio (WOIO) - The Medina County Sheriff’s Office is naming the suspect in a drive-by shooting that left a home riddled with bullets.
Deputies say Thomas E. Wurtz III, 22, fired multiple shots into a home on May 18 in Valley City.
According to police, officers were called out just before 5 a.m. to the 5400 block of Grafton Road.
They arrived to find the home shot up, but thankfully none of the five people inside were hurt.
Officers say Wurtz was arrested during their investigation on charges of improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation.
He has since bonded out of jail.
“I am very proud of the detective, and the team of deputies, who worked this case. Their efforts led to a quick resolve of the case for both the victims and the citizens of Medina County.”
