Jasper Police are investigating after a woman said that she was assaulted, kidnapped, and threatened by her boyfriend.

According to the report, she said that after he assaulted her, he put her in his vehicle and drove more than 100 miles-per-hour to Tyler County and was threatening to kill her.

Police Chief Garrett Foster says the case has been turned over to detectives and they are considering the charges or charges to file against the man.
