MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- The search continues for a driver after a man was struck and killed by a motor vehicle on Monday afternoon.
The incident happened around 12:49 p.m. near East 125th Street and 2nd Avenue.
Police say the victim, an unidentified man, was standing in the roadway on the Manhattan-bound exit ramp of the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge when he was hit by a vehicle.
The driver fled the scene, according to the NYPD.
EMS transported the man to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim's identity is pending.
No arrests have been made, and investigations remain ongoing.
