Funeral services for Marlin Ray Hawkins, 86, of Vinemont will be 12 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. The graveside service with military honors will follow at Dorsey Creek Cemetery in Bremen. Bro. Justin Smith will be officiating services. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday at Hanceville Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Mr. Hawkins was born on July 10, 1938, to the late Ralph and Maude Sanders-Hawkins in Arkadelphia, Alabama. He died at Folsom Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center on June 1, 2025. Marlin honorably served his country as a Private First Class in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963.
