EVERETT — Two children were transported to a hospital after being shot Monday evening in Snohomish County.
Around 6:30 p.m. Monday, Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 13100 block of 21st Drive SE in unincorporated Snohomish County between Everett and Mill Creek, the sheriff’s office wrote.
The two children, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, were part of a group spray-painting graffiti on a building Monday. A 20-year-old male then approached the group and shot the two children before fleeing the area, the sheriff’s office wrote in a release.
