EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville Mayor Terry gave an update Tuesday on several projects in the city.

One of note was the lack of housing and how the city is planning to add more.

Mayor Terry says the first step is figuring out where to make those new additions.

She explained how neighborhood revitalization across the city has been difficult to pinpoint because there’s very little information about where vacant housing areas are.

To help, the city is working with the Bloomberg Harvard city leadership initiative to create a database.

This will show the city the best places for new housing.
