MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee man who admitted to sending a string of letters threatening President Trump- in order to frame a man due to testify against him- appeared in court Tuesday, June 3.

Court documents show Demetric Scott wrote three threatening letters, which were sent to multiple authorities across Wisconsin. The letters he wrote had Ramon Morales-Reyes' name on the return address. Scott allegedly put together this plan in order to prevent Morales-Reyes from taking the stand in an armed robbery case.

In court Tuesday, Scott's cash bond was set at $30,000 and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, June 10.
