OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. (WMC) - The Olive Branch Police Department discussed the Olive Branch City Park, safety in the area, and recent developments on a 2024 robbery on Tuesday.
Mayor Ken Adams, District Attorney Matthew Barton, and Olive Branch Police Chief Bill Cox were present at the press event and addressed the public regarding recent developments involving the case of Rakeem Woodley.
According to DA Barton, Woodley will serve a 35-year sentence after being found guilty on charges of robbery and vehicle theft.
Barton says that Woodley was let out of the Wisconsin State Prison and had active warrants in the State of Wisconsin; the DA also clarifies that Woodley did not have a gun when he approached the senior, but snatched her keys from her during the robbery at Olive Branch City Pa
