JBA meeting and CLE seminar June 5

The Jacksonville Bar Association’s final luncheon and meeting of the 2024-25 Bar year begins at noon June 5 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront along the Southbank Downtown.

The 2025-26 board of governors will be sworn into office and 2024-25 JBA President Christian George will announce the annual Committee Chair of the Year, Professionalism and President’s awards.

Following the luncheon, the annual Criser Transactional Law Seminar presented by First American Title Insurance Co. is 1:15 p.m. to 5 p.m., also at the DoubleTree at 1201 Riverplace Blvd.

The program features discussions of bankruptcy strategy, public deal negotiation and the impact of artificial intelligence.
