OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (KCBD) - After over four decades of existence, Texas Tech softball has reached the pinnacle - the Women’s College World Series Championship Series aka the national title.

The Red Raiders punched their ticket and stomped their way to this point after an undefeated run in the WCWS up to this point. That includes beating higher-seeded Florida State in the Super Regional and taking down a dynasty seeking its fifth-straight national title in Oklahoma.

“We’re super excited. As far as the final series, I think we’re really healthy going into the series. I think we’re the healthiest we’ve been all season. I think we’re the most confident we’ve been all season. I look forward to seeing the girls go out and play the best ball of the season,” Texas Tech coach Gerry Glasco sa
