NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a shooting following a road rage incident on Tuesday evening.
Officers responded around 5:30 p.m. to Sunoco on Ashley Phosphate Road for a shooting, Lt. Anthony King says.
An investigation showed that a dispute between people in two vehicles, because of erratic driving, happened on Dorchester Road near Patriot Boulevard.
Occupants in the first vehicle threw an object into the second vehicle while they were stopped at a traffic light. An unknown person in the second vehicle then fired a shot at the first vehicle, causing an injury to one person.
No arrests have been made.
