The City of Carmel also announced that current CCI board chair Maddie Augustus will step down when a new CEO has been appointed or she needs to go on maternity leave, whichever comes first. CCI has been without a CEO since Maria Adele Rosenfeld resigned in late April.
After Augustus leaves the CCI board, the Carmel City Council will submit a new board nominee. That nominee will then need to be appointed by the mayor.
