WASHINGTON (TNND) — Harvard University has accused the Trump administration of illegally freezing over $2 billion in federal funds allocated to the institution. Harvard claims the federal government failed to investigate its allegations of antisemitism on campus.
The report highlights that prominent universities, including Columbia University, Harvard University, Northwestern University, and the University of California, have ramped up their lobbying activities. The University of California, under investigation by the Department of Education for alleged race-exclusionary practices, increased its lobbying expenditure from $440,000 in the last quarter of 2024 to $930,000 in the first quarter of 2025.
