WASHINGTON (TNND) — In recent weeks, there have been more aggressive actions led by federal immigration agents to find and arrest as many people as possible living in the country illegally.

That includes an operation at a Providence, Rhode Island, car wash on Thursday, which resulted in arrests and the seizure of fentanyl, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

At a Charleston, South Carolina, nightclub, more than 80 people were arrested, i ncluding at least 66 who Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said were in the United States illegally.

“This operation was not only about immigration enforcement. It was also about restoring order; removing threats from our streets and ensuring the safety and well-being of Charleston area residents," said Cardell Morant
