(TNND) — “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” star Mia Sara made a rare red carpet appearance for her first movie role in over a decade.

Sara looked stunning on the carpet, wearing a black dress for the Los Angeles premiere of “The Life of Chuck,” which she costars in with Tom Hiddleston, Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, and Carl Lumbly.

“The Life of Chuck” marks her first film role since 2011, when she starred in “Dorothy and the Witches of Oz.”

The 57-year-old is best known to most audiences for her role as Ferris Bueller’s girlfriend, Sloane Peterson, in the 1986 comedy starring Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck.

She made her film debut in the fantasy film “Legend,” alongside Tom Cruise and Tim Curry, and appeared in other movies like “Timecop” and TV shows like “Birds of Prey.”
