RICHMOND, Ind. — A Richmond man has found himself in jail on drug charges for the second time in less than two weeks.
Tayonne T. Tevis, 29, was arrested by the Richmond Police Department on May 26 and officially charged the next day with dealing cocaine, narcotics possession, controlled substance possession and marijuana possession. He was then booked into jail on a $30,000 surety bond.
Online court records show that Tevis' bond was paid on Monday, June 2, and that he was subsequently released from jail. It was less than one day after his bond was paid that Tevis was again arrested on similar charges.
