A plume of Saharan dust rides in from the Gulf, which means: • Hazy skies and a slight drop in air quality (especially for those with asthma or respiratory conditions) • Hotter afternoons, with highs in the upper 90s inland • Heat index values near or above 105°F • Very low rain chances, aside from a few coastal showers
