JEFFERSON CITY — Lincoln University is introducing a fully online Master of Arts in Community and Economic Development. Lincoln will become the first higher education institution in Missouri to offer this degree.
“With Lincoln University being situated in the state capital, we found it important to develop an academic program that speaks to the needs of public service,” said Stevie Lawrence II, the provost and vice president of academic affairs at Lincoln University.
The program aims to prepare students for leadership roles in public service, nonprofit organizations and development initiatives. The program allows students to specialize in urban and regional planning, social entrepreneurship, civic engagement and public administration.
