A new law in Oklahoma is changing the way medical marijuana can be sold.

Before June 1, 2025, flower marijuana products were sold in deli-style jars so patients could pick how much they’d like to purchase. It could then be weighed and packaged in store. But that is all changing under House Bill 3361.

House Bill 3361 requires all flower-based marijuana products to be sold pre-packaged. The responsibility now falls on growers to package their product before they sell it.

Lawmakers say it's aimed at increasing the safety and handling of the product, so patients know where their product is coming from.
