ST. GEORGE — A rollover on Saturday left one man dead and another man in critical condition, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Sgt. Lucas Alfred said a report came in at 9:45 p.m. about a rollover on Cottonwood Springs Road.

Upon arrival, Alfred said first responders found the vehicle had rolled with two adult males inside. He said the men were unconscious and unresponsive.

The sheriff’s office said one of the men was dead at the scene. The other was transported to St. George Regional Hospital in critical condition.

Alfred said that alcohol might have been a factor and that t he rollover is under investigation.
