PHOENIX (AZFamily) — President Donald Trump is pressuring Senate Republicans to back what he calls the “ One Big Beautiful Bill ,” a sweeping piece of legislation that includes billions for border security and tax breaks, totaling trillions of dollars.

The bill, already passed by the House and now moving through the Senate , would offset its costs with significant cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program , commonly known as food stamps. Those provisions are drawing both praise and criticism.
