(KBTX) - Recent Texas A&M grad Mac Barbara is joining the Orlando Monarchs of the Women’s Professional Fastpitch league.

The WPF is entering its fourth season and the Monarchs are one of four teams (Texas Smoke, Coastal Bend Tital Wave, and Hub City Adelitas).

Barbara was a grad transfer last year at Texas A&M and started in 57 games for the Aggies. She had 68 RBI with 12 home runs and 60 hits while batting .366. Barbara and the Aggies went 48-11 this year, earning the No. 1 national seed in the NCAA Tournament before being bounced in their own regional.
