KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Every year for the last 15 years, a local design remodeling company has gifted a family with a special needs child a new bathroom makeover.

It can cost thousands of dollars for families to remodel their bathrooms to fit the needs of their child, that makes personal care, challenging.

Schloegel Design Remodel partners with the Olivia Bloomfield Foundation to give away a custom bathroom, valued at $25,000 to a family in need.

It's called Olivia's Big Splash, named after Olivia Bloomfield, who was born with congenital muscular dystrophy. The giveaway has become a tradition to carry on her legacy.

Colton Kinnard, 13, may have a future in interior design.

"The McLaren, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Ferrari pictures, which I love all of them," he said.
