KINGMAN — The Mohave County Board of Supervisors on Monday adopted a tentative budget that is "structurally unbalanced" but covers the needs — and a very big want — for the present and immediate future.
After nearly two hours of discussion, supervisors by a 4-1 vote approved additions to an already modified "Option C" presented by Finance Director Luke Mournian, adding $4 million for acquisition of a new morgue even though several members aren't sure that's the right direction to go. Supervisor Ron Gould voted against it, concerned about the "structural deficit" it would create. ×
