The Colorado River Indian Tribes are considering a groundbreaking proposal to grant personhood status to the Colorado River.
At the tribe’s 15th Annual Earth Day event on May 31 at the Ahakhav Tribal Preserve, Tribal Council members invited input from members on the proposal. Chairwoman Amelia Flores and Council Member Tommy Drennan staffed an information booth where members shared their thoughts. ×
