Donald Trump carved out a portion of his Tuesday to go after Rand Paul for his opposition to the president’s beloved big beautiful bill.
He refrained from going after one of the bill’s most outspoken opponents, though — Elon Musk. But that time could be coming soon, because Musk was up well after midnight on Wednesday sharing thoughts on his social media platform about the bill.
Musk first shared a post from Geiger Capital, featuring a 60 Minutes interview, about the rising national debt.
“The immense level of overspending will drive America into debt slavery!” he wrote after 2 a.m. EDT.
He then reshared a post from Rand Paul — Trump’s target of the day — decrying the spending in the bill.
