If you have replaced a kitchen faucet of Amazon anytime in the past year or so, it’s time to go check the make and model, because there is currently a massive recall in place.

Consumer Affairs recently announced that 100,000 faucets are on the list because they can allow lead to leach into water at levels that can be harmful to young children and infants.

Exposure to lead can cause neurological problems in young children, and can cause decreased cognitive performance, lower IQ and attention-related behavioral problems, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

There are three different models of faucets that make up the 100,000 recalled.
