SAN ANTONIO - A woman is dead after a head-on crash with a possible drunk driver on the Northeast Side.

Police said the woman was in a car with two children ages 8 and 12 when she was hit head on by a truck going the wrong way. The pickup truck flipped over onto its roof due to the impact of the crash.

The woman was rushed to the hospital where she later died from her injuries. The name of the victim has not yet been released.

The kids were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The truck driver, who was treated for minor injuries, is now facing possible intoxication manslaughter charges.
